Twas the night before surgery
and all through the place
Not a kitteh was stirring
while I stuffed my face
The appointment was set for 2 pm the next day
In the hopes that the pain will soon all go away...
Later on I'll be nestled all snug in my bed
While visions of long bike rides dance in my head.
The phone calls and texts have made me feel great
Amazing to have so much love on my plate
I'm excited and nervous and ready to rock
Can't wait to wake up from the ol' chopping block
For now I'll get ready for meal number three
And hope that tomorrow I don't have to pee
But for now I'll exclaim as I hydrate all night,
Thank you to all, it will all be all right!
