I got whalloped by my allergies yesterday. Lovely, just in time for me to be sneezing my head off while trying to celebrate my 4th wedding anniversary. Fantastic. We had a lovely time in between the sniffles...we had dinner at our favorite little local Italian restaurant and then headed out to get our joint gift - a new iPod Classic! We already loaded all of our 3800 songs onto it and have it plugged into our new surround sound home theater system. It's great! No more getting out the CD's to listed to Greg Brown in the morning...you just spin the dial and hit play! Love it!
Thankfully, it was rainy yesterday and pouring this morning. Essentially, this means the brakes have been put on my allergies! I went to bed last night feeling as if my head were going to explode from the sinus congestion....woke up this morning a new woman! Hooray!
Two races this weekened. Both are Crits...both are out near T-Town. Tomorrow's race has a small, but very tough, pre-reg field of cat 2s and 1s and then me and Kristy Swope. Oh, boy...this should be fun! Sunday's race has a larger field without any real ringers in there so far. We'll see! I'm just excited to be doing two races in a weekend. It's always a good challenge.
